The Death of Morality
I cry and hunger yet;
For peace and quiet still.
I stumble sad and weary;
Wishing for reform.
For in the days of yore,
In the days gone by;
There was not sin and anger;
Yet by every door.
Neighbors helped their neighbors;
And those they did not know;
When little children were delightfull;
And were not filled with disrespect.
When the Bible was not rare,
To any human being,
And when it's warn old cover,
was lifted every day,
When a moral nature,
was placed in high regards,
And life was yet so wondrous;
In it's joy and pain;
Now those days that are gone by,
Are looked upon in sorrow;
For now we have no joy,
Nor peace, or leasure true.
All we have is man-made hope;
A synthetic form of peace;
God replaced with thrilling rides,
And entertainment full of filth.
And yet we see,
As if our elders are forgotten,
History is well shrouded;
Behind the lies of modern times.

I Beg you, all who read this; Don't forget the Lord. Don't forget yourself. Don't forget that you will make a differience to the world in your every action. And don't forget to uphold the values upon which America was built, and upon which it stood strong throughout the years. May God Bless You, And America.
