General
Designed by the lead designer of Microsoft's Age of Empires, Empire Earth is a huge improvement over it's predicessor.  While the concepts to play the game have not changed, i.e. Resource gathering, etc.  New depth has been added, via 14 New Epochs, spanning history, from the [fictional] "Prehistory" to the [Sci-Fi] "Nano" age... There are also approximately 200 differient unit types, from swordsmen, to Tanks and Airplanes...  And to finish the playing experiance, graphics have been improved, from the simple "2D" type landscape and buildings of AoE, to a truely 3D picture, that allows zooming in and out... You can actually see troops far in the distance, while others are litterally right in front of the camera!  The only objection to the game I have ever found was the large system requirements, as they tend to be higher than most games of it's Genere - The game plays well, however, on my Pentium III 800 Mhz. 128 RAM system...
Units
Among the other features, you are allowed to command extreemely large armys, unlike some RTS games, which give you an assigned max number of selected units.   And, unlike the well known Civilization series, each unit is is not merely "Stronger" than the other; Rather, each unit is modeled as it would be in real life - For example, The game offers 2 types of tanks in the modern age; the M-1, & Leopard.  Both tanks are strong in their own way; however, if one or the other is used wrongly, it will appear to be weak.  The game has been so well modeled that the position of your troops may be vital to your success;  For example, If an enemy F-15 is circling over your airport, and you intend to send another F-15 into the air to counter it, It matters Much when you bring the plane into the sky;  For if it flies straight at the enemy plane, it will take a missle from the enemy, and acquire damage;  However, if it is capable of following the enemy, and repeatedly firing at it from rear, it might destroy the enemy without taking any damage.  And one last issue I might bring up would be the use of Unit Improvements.  Each unit type is offered 10 Improvement points;  And if used, they improve Attack, Speed, Range, Etc.  For example, a marine might end up with attack 30+25 after being improved, thus making it much stronger in battle.
Overall:
Overall, I would rate this game a Best Pick - If you want a strategy game, look no further.

Graphics: 9 of 10

Number of noteable bugs: Very Few

Sierra's Official System Requirements:

To Be Added Soon

My Reccomended System Requirements:

Minimum procesor speed; 766/800 Mhz or better (128 Mb RAM)
Reccomended processor speed; 1.2 Ghz of better (128/256 Mb RAM)

My Computer is a Celeron 800 Mhz, with 128 Mb RAM.  I get 8 to 10 FPS average... Going off of this basis, I consider that a 800 Mhz. system should be a minimum if you are expecting reasonable gameplay.
